Omegapoint acquires the Malmö company Diamir Consulting

Omegapoint continues to make strategic investments by acquiring Diamir Consulting in Malmö. Diamir is well known for its extensive experience in Product Information Management (PIM) and deep industry knowledge, particularly in Food & Beverage. Together, Omegapoint and Diamir will deliver experts and projects in cybersecurity digitalisation, eCommerce and PIM. The acquisition further strengthens Omegapoint's position in eCommerce and PIM.
- There are great synergies in our merger which will create a strong overall offering within Omegapoint's existing Commerce Solutions business. There is a good fit between the businesses and we complement each other very well. The industrial logic of the merger is, according to all parties, very clear. Together we will be stronger, says Omegapoint Malmö's CEO Fredrik Lundbeck.
Diamir Consulting currently employs around 20 people with offices in Malmö, Sweden, and since the end of 2021 there is also an office in Quebec, Canada. The largest client base is in Sweden but also around Europe, and now also in North America.
- We started Diamir in 2017 with the aim of building a specialist PIM, Web and change management company. Our goal was to attract the best in PIM and build a specialist company that would be able to compete and gain trust from customers both here at home in Sweden and internationally, says Diamir's CEO Mattias Pergler.
Omegapoint's goal is to become the European leader in cybersecurity digitalisation. Strategic acquisitions, with a strong focus on both cultural and skills match, are part of getting there. The merger between Omegapoint and Diamir will expand operations in southern Sweden, and also broaden the skills base across the group.
Pontus Börrsen, Deputy CEO of Diamir, concludes:
