AWS as a Key Driver for Innovation and Growth at Resurs Bank
Resurs Bank had document management spread across various systems and archives. To support the bank's digital transformation, speed up the release of new features, and cut down on costs, centralizing document management and archiving became a top priority. Omegapoint worked closely with Resurs Bank to understand their needs and ensure that the selected document management solution met all requirements. Together, we led the project to bring all electronic archives into one centralized system.We designed a container-based architecture on AWS to host the new system. This design allows the bank to easily scale as it grows and as the number of documents increases. The AWS environment provided the flexibility and reliability needed to handle the migration smoothly. In total, over 100 million documents were migrated without any disruption to the bank's services. The transition was completed on time, and the old systems were successfully decommissioned. By centralizing document management on AWS, Resurs Bank has reduced duplicate data and simplified how they manage document retention. This new setup not only streamlines current operations but also supports the bank in continuing to innovate and deliver a better customer experience for their customers.
