Challenge

Panduro Hobbys' operations, systems and organisation were geared towards sales in stores and to some extent traditional mail order via catalogue. The challenge was to create an e-commerce solution that added as little impact as possible to the traditional way of working. Ideally, it should be possible to manage it largely with existing resources and organisation.

Solution

Omegapoint created a technical solution that supports the client's own processes and makes maximum use of existing systems. Panduro's employees work with few exceptions in established interfaces linked to the ERP system where Omegapoint's solution exposes the products on Panduro's e-commerce site with a high degree of automation.

Result

In three years, e-commerce turnover doubled, with only one person working in e-commerce as a main task.In 2015, pandurohobby.se was awarded as the second best e-commerce solution by the prestigious Web Service Awards in competition with much more renowned e-commerce companies.
